After much trawling through as many records as I can think of, I’ve had no success in locating a picture of Ernest William Whitehead originally of Dannevirke NZ who died from a tree felling incident in 1935. My grandfather was able to tell me a little bit about this many years ago and research has proffered the remainder.
I wonder does anyone have a photograph they would be willing to share and that I could use on the website for the rest of the family near and far?

what a find your site is , thank you for sharing .I am really enjoying the stories you have written they certainly make the names and dates more real. Most of the hard work on his Whitehead tree has been done but I’m forever searching to verify and add more data . I am the wife of Lionel Victor Whitehead b 1944 died 13 March 2014.
