James Mohan married Alice Walsh 2 February 1845 at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Drogheda.

Alice Walsh was born about 1826. Alice died on the 13 June 1871 after an eight month illness with liver disease. Alice was residing on Platten Road Drogheda at the time and is possibly buried in the Calvary Cemetery in Drogheda. Alice and James were both parishioners at St Mary’s RC church in Drogheda. The St Mary’s Drogheda parish registers record three known sons. Edward Mohan born 1845. Died 1884. James Mohan born 1848. died 1898 and Michael Mohan born 1850. Died 1929.

James Mohan died 5 June 1906 and is buried in the Calvary Cemetery on Blackbush Lane Drogheda
